And that whole 2.5 seconds you ranted about not receiving a good morning text, you could’ve used the same damn energy to (say what now? Oh yeah!!!!) take initiative. You get what you put out in a relationship now I’d understand being upset would be justified if your efforts aren’t getting appreciated.

I always tend to agree with this, but then, it works both ways… so I end up sending plenty… usually not getting a lot back…:)

It always depend on the liking of other side. U can’t force anyone. First i text my husband everytime but slowly i realised he has no need of my msgs or to call with me. So now i keep quiet.

I get a good morning face to face from my husband and he gets a good morning from me. Definitely way better than a text.

2.5 seconds? Not even close. First I have to find my glasses, then I have to find my phone. I start to type but realize I haven’t had coffee yet. Fewer typing errors if I have coffee first. Need to make coffee. While coffee is making I have to go to the bathroom. By the time I finish my morning “have to do” items we are 30 minutes into the day. Shoot can’t find my second shoe. Sorry, no time to say hi, I’m late for work.

Hahahaha I don’t think this is actually a rule is it? And if it Is I feel sorry for all the men with over bearing girlfriends and wives. I remember when I was a little child. I was 11 years old. My dad was living in another country because of his job for a couple of months. I missed him so bad 🙁 ?❤ I used to write him a letter every single day (sometimes before getting to school and sometimes after getting home). If you have to depend on a text from a phone for anything that’s pretty bad I grew up not having phones and I still don’t depend on my wife sending anything and it don’t change shit

It also take 3.5 mins to make me a sandwich..There’s 24 hrs a day if I’m not worth a 3.5 mins of your day than your not worth a position in my life .

Men should call women, pursue and spend time with them. A text is not enough. If he’s not doing any of the above he’s most likely not into you or your not his favorite.?. Yes, but it’s never just a 3 second text. Then there is a follow up text like “good morning, how are you” and then it’s this big long back and forth conversation. Sorry, but I don’t need to keep in constant communication with someone to keep them in my life.

Completely agree. My significant other is the first thing I think about when I wake up, so it’s natural for me to text good morning everyday, and clearly I want him to feel the same about me. If it’s not the same for the other person, then that’s not the person for me.

A lot of people missing the point. If the person you are into doesnt respond to you or goes out of their way to take 2.5 seconds with the tech we have today just to say Hi, then you are not wortg their time. Its sad
