Why don’t they get that?! It’s disrespectful to give your phone more attention than their significant other.

The best part is to see their reaction when u leave while there keep looking in their phone and gets confused when ure gone ? Ignore me to a limit and then Im gone…

Or anyone, for that matter. It’s annoying when you want to talk to someone ot ask them at question but they are so into their phone or x-box that they are oblivious to anything you just said.

And your children. I have seen them getting ignored and parents staring at the phone. Like when a child is left in a car cause the adult forgot a child was in there. Bet they didn’t forget their phone!

I constantly see couples in their phone when they’re out for dinner. Put the damn thing away and talk to each other! For cryin’ out loud, if you’re over 30, you surely didn’t have a cell phone or tablet when you started dating, why the hell do it now when you’re with your man / lady friend?

No life’s partner will get any more time and attention than the phone, i think it were better said to pay more attention to the phone instead of partner. We have allowed technology to drive a wedge between our partners, but on the other hand it is not technology that have done it we did it to ourselves because of our lack of self control and discipline we do not exercise on nothing so we are carried away into anything.

I did and just got engaged, amazing what can happen if you focus on your life and stop living in the cyberworld

When I have ppl over for dinner I ask them to put their cellphones in a basket , than I set the basket aside soooo everyone can have conversation…. works well?

This goes for more than “your life partner.” Pay attention to your surroundings, people in general and life. Put the phone down and engage in conversation, make eye contact and when someone says hello good morning, etc. , look up and acknowledge.

There’s a reason why they would rather hold their phone more than they touch. there’s a reason why they would rather stare at a screen than looking you in the eye.there’s a reason why they are nolonger available, mentally checking on you. there’s something or someone in that little handheld device that has become more important than you. Understand this and slowly but surely, move on
