I hate when quotes like this start with “a strong women will..” how do any of us know what a strong women looks like? Every women is strong in their own way.

If she cannot fix it she is not a strong woman. Strong women have such qualities which make people crave them. Not trying is easy, walking away is easy but staying is difficult.
And strong women spend their time improving themselves instead of wasting time in reading such stupid posts on social media. 😀

Agreed, but what about the love that grew inside during the days of being together? Walking away is okay. But when done it’s like a fishing line hooked to me heart that’s coiled all over him. It hurts. Hurts bad and that’s so sad ?

it’s not only you FEEL unwanted thats why you will walk away but if there is a communication between the two person in order to work out whatever problem arise definitely she will not just walk away. Feeling unwanted is not the basis of a strong woman for me.

I agree with those who stayed. But is is not always bull, sometimes there is nothing to fix. And a strong woman can discern that so she simply walks away. I know that was my experience… and if there were ever in doubts they have been quelled by the fact my Ex has been married 6 times and I was the First. Not at all! It’s easy to walk away. Someone has strength if they can forgive mistakes made and work towards fixing the issues/problems in a relationship. The only thing I’ll agree with is the begging part. It’s never a good situation if you have to beg someone.

It’s situation specific. There’s an incredible strength to stick and work things out. Just as there is a strength in knowing enough is enough. Let’s not heap shame on women for being strong in their situations.

This is bull. We had problems and we worked our asses off to fix them and made our relationship amazing. Now that we worked through the hard times our marriage is so smooth besides the normal marriage arguments. And since I was ‘not strong’ and decided to stay and fix it both our children have a happy home with both of their parents. It took a lot of strength for me to stay and work on it. But I wasn’t going to just give up and walk away because it got hard.

Anger and hostility will never work on either side, sit back and think about the situation instead of throwing anger out like it’s important! There is reasoning behind everyone’s actions. I myself am so tired of hearing people blame other people for their actions. Nobody can “control” someone else’s feelings or actions. This doesn’t make her a strong woman! It actually makes her weak! A strong woman would never close her self up and walk away. If the man she supposedly loves is what she really wants. But to walk away would be easier!! How is that strong?

I feel like the opposite is true. It takes a strong person to have faith in someone, fight for what she wants, and not just simply walk away like a coward..

But what if she is wrong about the thing she thinks that had her feeling unwanted? So many times in my life when I felt like I knew something, I found out things weren’t the way I saw them at all. We all have some pretty funny glasses that we see the world through. They were given to us by our parents, teachers, friends and lovers… No two people have the same glasses.

That is not strength that is ignorant strong person will try to figure out why they feel that way and if it’s true or not because sometimes we feel something but sometimes we are not telling ourselves the truth because our mind is fogged by our own feelings which is just a perception it may not be how things are meant at all

? There is truth to this statement for sure, but Love is worth fighting for. And a strong “person” would know when it can’t be fix and when to move on but also have the strength to stay and try to work it out first. People today rush into marriage/ relationships just as fast as they rush out without even a second glance or thought as to why.

There’s only so much you can do or say. Walk away if you’re not getting what you need from a relationship or partner. Your happiness is too important.

Actually, a woman who walks without even trying to fix anything is extremely weak. You have to try. But you also have to know when to back off and either let him do the work or realize there is nothing left to give and then walk. People walk too easily these days.
