The quality that I saw in my husband of 23 years (when he was 26) was his responsibility towards his parents. He was driving his parents around town selling veggies in a beat up 15 passenger van on the weekends. He said not a lot of women gave him the time of day. I think generalizations like this are crappy. Just because you’ve had a few bad experiences, never think that is the norm.
