Yes i know from first hand In 1974 my mom stayed in a terriorist relationship.My mom had 6 kids ….3 girls…3 boys. My father beat us soo bad we could even open our eyes n raped us. My brothers were beatin. I ran away at the age of 15.Never returned.My two sisters were takin away from social servic2es. My mom stayed with my father for 33 years more beating. Why l donot know. Wow. I’ve never thought about ppl having a love that blossomed out of the need to sleep beside someone. I use to sleep fine alone and then I met loml and still am having trouble after our break sleeping alone. I slept like Heaven when I laid on his arm and he pulled me close. Are you saying the thing I called love for this man was not really love at sll but maybe just comfort?

I did for too many years. Made me feel ugly and worthless and only good for taking care of his needs. Thank God I met someone afterwards who made feel like a woman again, even though he passed away. ?

Yes , very true . I stayed in a long relationship with my husband took all kinds if crap from him because I was afraid to be alone. I have 2 boys that saw me go through it all with him. The cheating he did for years , now I have finally left him its going on 2years and I feel wonderful. It took a while he was my first one and only man in my world was with him since I was 17yrs old. I don’t believe that they should ever work against one another, but work together. When they do, you know it’s real. Yes, our hearts can love, but if there is doubt, usually there is good reason for it.

The photos you only see are always both of you are in group pictures in his account, but no pictures of you and him.

Why does being alone scare anyone? I don’t understand why our security is based on other people. I’ve been alone my entire life and I’m doing just fine. Now if somebody worthy of my time and effort comes along, great. If not. Oh well.

I rather be alone than feel so alone in a relationship. If you are committed in a relationship it takes two to show effort, communication, support each other through difficult times, etc. communication is very important. Don’t ever insult the person you are committed to or anyone for that matter. And don’t allow them to insult you. If you don’t want to stay in the relationship, then let each other know. Don’t waste each other’s time and energy. Everyone should be happy. Life is too short!
