I thin a lot of it is the ambiguity of whether to call or text in this era. I’ve had many women who don’t pick up my call yet quick to reply to my texts. They say they don’t like to talk on the phone, it feels weird etc. I mean this in terms of just talking to a woman (not a full blown relationship)

Not if your girl has anxiety issues… phone calls can feel awful and awkward, no matter if you care about the person or not… I can’t tell you how many times someone I cared about called me and I just sit there like I forgot how to speak while trying to think of something to say to make it a conversation… at least with texting, you have time to plan out what you wanna say without making a fool of yourself.

Can’t agree with that. If a guy who is not my boyfriend yet calls me for hours, it makes me feel really awkward. But if my boyfriend never calls me only texts, he definitely never realize I am his girlfriend.

I prefer to text most of the time because of my anxiety, but either way, I wouldn’t be talking to other guys while dating my guy :/ that’s just common decency??

Texting is not a conversational tool…. It has its uses but I hate texting…. If a guy chooses to call and actually talk to me, he has a much better chance of winning my heart…!

Most definitely! It’s OK to text sometimes but never calling gets boring fast, and even annoying at times. Call me, and you’ll have my attention. Text me, and you’ll get my attention but only for so long.

I dnt mind texting my male friends,actually I dnt want them to call me or I call them. .but I prefer my bf calling me each day jst to make me believe that he’s thinking of me. .I dnt get it why we cnt calleach other when we in a relationship thou. .

Nah. Not true at all. I HATE talking on the phone. And if you’re only talking and dating and not exclusive no big deal to talk to other guys. But of course if you’ve had the “are we exclusive” talk then neither of you needs to be talking to other potential dating partners.

Lol, no way, unplanned phone calls from potential suitors just piss me off!!!! I’m very introverted and not a phone talker, and trust me, most aren’t talking to multiple guys at once when in a committed relationship.

So true seems like people only know how to communicate their emotions through text or email and then you have to remember that a person can be anything when housing behind technology. It’s nice when you can actually be in front of a person who knows how to communicate.

She shouldn’t even be talking to other guys in the first place. And if she is , then the guy should look for another girl one who doesn’t talk to many guys lol js

Men texting is kind of like tossing some bait in the pond to see if they get a nibble. When they don’t get exactly what they specifically want they go fishing someone else. But there are bunches of different kind of fish in that pond that are fabulous. If you are confident enough to aggressively pursue some of them you will be so blessed. It’s sickening how society just accept and assumes people are gonna be talking to others…there’s no respect these days and so many levels of talking to soenone, hanging out or dating or relationships that some of us don’t even want to do it…ugh

It’s kinda like actually going in a place to get a job and SHOW them you really want it. That’s the point…effort. Be different. Stand out. Although I’d rather talk in person if we gonna talk when I’m getting to know you. It’s kinda awkward on the phone. Especially when you’re a really busy person. Talking on the phone is not always ideal. Plus I hate people that always have their phone glued to their ear also.

Some woman still talk to others guys.They know it bothers them. But if a person has really feels for someone they dont try at all. Some people play to many games. People like that I dont even try at all anymore. It time to move on with someone is serious ready. That is want I am doing. I can say alot of things. Not every woman and man are bad at all. No…. I don’t like talking on the phone. At all. And if I’m talking to someone because I’m interested in them, I’m only talking to that guy. I like the little surprise “I miss you” texts and him telling me how beautiful I am. And women really just want someone who does those little things, not just the first few months but always. If you can’t keep doing something, don’t start doing it in the first place.

A man does not compete for my time. I am not going to entertain just anyone’s advances. If I am in the dating game and we’re “talking”, it’s just him. He doesn’t have to try to be first because even male friends (strictly friends)come after him. While guys have contacted me while in a relationship with my husband or dating/talking before, I have not accepted advances and tried to be honest yet nice when turning them down. I wouldn’t like to “talk” to a guy who has other women he’s also considering.

It’s easier for me to text unless you want to hear my kids in the background or me telling them to stop this, get down, stop that, girls quit fighting. Lol I’m not much of a phone talker

ai dont mind a couple of text’s during the day, but i NEED the first voice i hear in the morning & the last voice i hear at night must be my girlfriends..i love the idea of getting a random text during the day to know she is thinking of me……..and no matter what serious talk/fights/misunderstandings should always be spoken about in person…

I love this idea and I hate texting but let me tell you that a lot of women hate talking on the phone. A lot of women I have been out with rather text and I hate that. Text sucks when you are trying to get to know someone.

No one ever said the guy was her boyfriend..they could be dating which means she’s not obligated to anyone. Its basically saying if you want her call instead of texting cause it will get you further..some of y’all too serious and missed the point

a loyal girl wont ever cheat on her boyfriend but when he calls her in stead of texting that will make her confident about their relationship, and she wont ever think that he might cheat on her
