Yes. It’s 100% a choice. You not only make the choice to cheat, but you make the choice to prove that you never loved the person you claimed to. It’s never a mistake. Cheaters say it’s a “mistake made in a moment of weakness” when in reality, that’s just an excuse to get out of trouble so they can have free reign to do it again. It’s a choice, and if you feel compelled to cheat on your partner “in a moment of weakness”, then leave them. Being cheated on causes severe emotional distress, a lot more than a damn breakup. You hurt someone you claim to love, which is just wrong.

Yes, is a choice and the person doing it with his conscious for many reasons. Maybe he is unhappy, maybe he doesn’t love his husband/wife or maybe he doesn’t feel loved or maybe he has kids and doesn’t want leave his family even if he is unhappy in his relationship.

There are many types of cheating. There is a cheating that involves a one single moment of weakness (That is a mistake) but then choosing not to tell and to hide that fact from your loved one is a cheating. Then there is a cheating that involves more strategic planning than a freaking war between countries. That my friend is the true meaning of Cheating.
