I had that actually happened to me with my ex BF,
but after hearing me on the phone when he called, he drove to my place, said I am sorry held me all night, gave me kisses.
But his care and love did not stop him from following his customs, did not stop it from breaking my heart.

Or they’re just ducking tired and through experience if a woman is up crying at late hrs of the night nothing you’re going to say is going to help that lost soul. Better one red eyed broad in the morning to deal with children than 2 tired fools who stayed up crying all night.

This is ridiculous people have lives and get tired just because Someone goes home and doesn’t check up in the same night next day or next day after does not mean anything they most likely know you’re in you’re not their mother and you’re not theirs

Basically a girl I was with once! She made my life literally a living hell! I was always left dejected when she left! She flat out did not care either! It made me so depressed I questioned if I was worth more dead than alive!

So many can… Not because they don’t care but because they can’t care… For a lot of people their emotional quotient is below average and their empathy levels are “on reserve”… And when opposites attract they hook up with sensitive, beautifully empathetic people… Hopefully we can teach them this gift that can be learned, even if it is not naturally inborn… Comments are welcome

The person will fall asleep easily knowing that they hurt you. They don’t care. That’s what makes it hurt more. They stop caring. We know that. However, with friends and family we survive. Yeah!

My ex (key word there) would get so annoyed when I’d text my family to let them know I got home safe when I was out late. AND he would get upset with HIS own mother when she’d ask him to do the same.

Not really, no. It just means their life doesn’t revolve around you and you alone. Sometimes you have to take care of yourself, because if you live with someone constantly taking care of you, you won’t now how to do it when they’re gone. Their life doesn’t revolve around you, sometimes you have to cry alone.

Everything someone does or doesn’t do for you doesn’t mean they don’t love you or care about you. The person may just not know how to deal with seeing you hurting or want to make you feel better but feel like if they tried you would push them away.

Yes yes yes. If someone sees you/hears you crying to sleep and never check up on you, that’s your key that they don’t care and you need to move on. ?????
