Ignoring someone that loves you is bad, but isn’t it a good thing to teach someone to live without you? Why would you want your significant other to depend on you to live?

Uhmmmmmmmm, yep. He ignored, instead of sulkig or getting upset. I found tons of things to do without him and enjoyed myself. He didn’t like that I wasn’t sitting around waiting for him nor that I wasn’t home when he finally decided to give me a moment of his time.

They do it because they care for that persons feelings and don’t want to hurt there feelings…sometimes holding on will hurt more than letting go……but depends on the situation…varieing.

Exactly. I would get ignored anywhere from 1-3 weeks if I said or did anything my ex didn’t like. Tore my heart and self esteem up. Never again.

But why are they being ignored? If it’s warranted, then you are also teaching yourself you can live without them. There’s two sides to this…

I can live without you, and you can live without me… But I’m not ignoring you, and I’m not playing games like this… I’m literally just being a busy person doing things with my life, either with dance and music, or being a responsible adult. I’m not clingy, and I don’t need to be in constant contact with you all the time, but when I’m there, I’m there and you should be, too! <3

Good side is, it will always benefit the one being ignored because it is teaching that person true tenacity and perseverance to hope even more and will know the worth of patiently waiting for the right one.

Never ignore someone’s msgs or call. If some issues r there, u should say directly n discuss D matter.

Some people need to ignore the person they love for a few hours to calm down so they dont say words they regret. As long as the ignoring won’t take a whole day or week. Its ok!
