Relationship Rules
That’s y I’m gonna stop dealing with somebody like that now. She can’t tell her man that she talked to me or was in contact with me, I’m cutting it off myself.
Yup. Last one had double standards. She was jealous of anyone in my life yet I was a secret.
Isn’t that the truth!!!
Hmm, let’s see. It says right there on my relationship status ‘it’s complicated’, but women are still friend requesting and messaging me. I yanked a few womens’ chains by quoting lines from nursery rhymes and old kids’ songs and whatnot, and most of them eventually got the hint. However, one recent woman required what you might say was a slightly more drastic response. I’ve also recently gotten a friend request from somebody whose profile pic was of some type of potted plant, a flower I think. I had to laugh about that one.
This is the thing that bothers me the most . Regardless if you’re committed or not if someone means something to you you cut the high school bs out an give one person you .
Gospel on many levels. Once it comes out – and it always will – might find out the one asking you to keep things quiet has that game going with a few. Waste of time and emotion.
I’m not defined by my relationship. it’s not something I tell people when I first meet them because it’s not what makes me, me. if someone asks I’ll tell them but other than that it’s not something I talk about. but does that make me love my partner less? no. does that make me want to cheat on them or do I flirt with everyone I meet? no. I just don’t think my relationship is an important part of my identity.
I’ve been through that crap storm one too many times. If you don’t have the decency and respect for your partner to let everyone know you’re off the market then you sure as heck don’t deserve loyalty from them. It drives me so crazy how relationships now a days have turned it’s like nobody is satisfied and are constantly searching for the next best thing/grass being greener on the other side.
Yes, they do. There are many, including my ex’s recent, who don’t mind being hidden. If not there wouldn’t be so many side pieces.
I like to nicely explain I’m not available when I’m not, but I am going to be more firm with it. Honestly, saying I’m taken or not interested didn’t stop anyone from continuing to make advances.
Yup
Your relationship absolutely should be private, but…
Not a secret!
My ex never would tell others he was taken. He said he was single until married. if he ignored his gfs then they should get the hint & leave him alone… is what he’d say. He never told his fwb to back off to give us a chance. He couldnt even post on fb we were together. Wouldnt post pictures of us. Says he’s private & its no ones business. In the end i felt he was just embarrassed and ashamed to be with me. Guess he really didnt care. I told everyone about him. I wanted the world to… Read more »
This is called cheating or open relationship
I’m not afraid OR ashamed! I just don’t post our relationship on here for drama kings and Queens to interfer
Loyalty and faithfulbess are the most important things in a relationship! In love period! There’s nobody I DESPIES more than a cheater and those who can’t tell others to back off, they’re taken, not interested! That’s what’s wrong with society today! Loyalty and faithfulness hardly exist! Makes me almost wanna give up on love!
Now if only that women that claims to the world they are taken by someone new would complete the divorce started with someone old so they could also be taken by someone new….and move on….
I would never be afraid to let it be known who has my heart. I’m always loyal to my significant other. My significant other knows that I would never stray, I’ll always be faithful.
I knew a very horrible guy from a dating site. For dunno for what reasons he told me so much things about the girls he dated. 2 gfs he had..1 fwb ….over 40 more other girls had dated.
Apparently people thought I was marrying someone that I never said yes to and didn’t even have a clue we were in a relationship of any sort but some one sided texts and a fake flirting thing when he was near me! Hell we even stopped talking completely but people thought I was going to be his wife! I don’t consider him more than flirting and someone I know professionally! That doesn’t mean something wasn’t starting but I don’t call that a relationship! Texting in a Fake page to talk to me! WTF? No thanks! I’ve been single for 9… Read more »
You should be proud of your partner and display it everyday. faithfulness and loyalty are everything in a relationship. I will work threw all problems except cheating that’s An automatic dissmissal.
Can’t declare a relationship that you don’t even know if you really had something or not! Or where they don’t even have a face to face conversation with you or ever show you any form of closeness, protection, comfort. I think it’s just flirting then and nothing to say there!
it’s ‘ll friends with benefits nowadays and if u mention anything else u r ignored. most claim to wAnt a relationship but have No clue as to what that is. the idea of romance and true love is gone for most. social media makes it too easy to find a replacement and offers. no one has class or respect anymore for others in a relationship either. it’s all about Facebook and likes instead of conversations and fun behind closed doors! ; )
Oh yeah…..when the,man you think you’re in a relationship refuses to acknowledge it and window shops, move on
Loyalty and faithfulness is the most important thing to invest to have a lasting relationships . I’m thinking the same with my partner but no to avail. If you love this person you will be proud of to show your true feelings in the crowd.
This includes flirting. Recently read this (paraphrased): It breaks the boundary in a committed relationship and gives away interest and attention that should only be given to the one in the commitment.
As I read somewhere before having a private relationship and being kept a secret are two different things. Privacy can be maintained while making it known that you’re taken.
