Easier said than done because the second you keep yourself busy and occupied you feel foolish weeks or months later finding out how much you missed by not paying attention. It sucks

Overthinking sometimes is the cause of unhealthy relationship

Your peace is more important than driving yourself crazy with overthinking. It’s impossible to understand why everything happens, let alone satisfying.
Let it go.

Stop thinking worrying and obsessing about him. Quit looking at his page and quit looking over your shoulder. If you are doing these things, you’re not secure in the relationship and there’s probably a good reason (another female) why.

I don’t think the solution to overthinking is to keep yourself occupied. The solution is to train your mind to think logically instead of blowing things out of proportion.
Keeping yourself busy doesn’t solve the problem. It is just a way to dust it under the rug until you trip over it later when you realize, you should have dealt with the problem back when you first discovered that you had it.
The only way to solve a problem is to acknowledge it exists. Dusting it under the rug only delays the inevitable.
