Yeah, no they don’t. No matter how good of a boyfriend they are, they will never do that. Real men don’t swallow their pride and take care of a woman like that. You need to take care of yourself.

I disagree with Crys Tal. Maybe my Gary is a rare and magical unicorn, but he supports me mentally & emotionally, and from 250 miles away! He is amazingly astute at knowing when I need that bit of extra time to talk, knows exactly what to say to keep me on track, and is always supportive. I do agree with needing to take care of yourself as well, since if you can’t, no one else can either.

And a good woman won’t go out and look for her “needs” while still married. I’m tired of the hypocrisy of justifying when a woman cheats. A cheater is plain selfish no matter if it’s a man or a woman.

The same should apply to a good girlfriend. It go both ways, otherwise it’s not a healthy relationship.
