Can’t disagree to what is said here coz it’s a FACT. After all, we’re human beings. And as human beings we are NOT perfect.

No if by family you mean blood. Some of those can take advantage so I say no. But my inner network of friends are my family.

This is true, but there’s a difference between family and relatives. I’ve got relatives that we wouldn’t piss on each other if we were on fire. But I’ve got family that has no blood or marriage connection to me that I’ve only known for a couple of years, but if one of us needs the other, we drop everything and help…

This is not true. Half of marriages end in divorce. Our culture quits easily. And the love is not there…then, hopefully at least the legal side doesn’t make the parents become bad parents.

Unless your family holds a grudge on you for picking sides but your not the person for messing up the family so certain family members stop talking to you because you chose a side but when u picked that side you still talked to them but they decided to stop contacting you

Too many sad responses to family and values. Granted relationships within families can be difficult but too many people give up too easily. Not letting a parent know you married someone you fell in love with and bore a child, regardless of how strained that relationship is contradictive to the message.

this would be true if you picked your family. yet it’s not always true unfortunately for the family your born into. Some families are twisted and only want to know you when you have money or its in their best interest but when you need them the most they stab you in the back and vanish.
