So easy to say. No one understands the struggles people go through, but the people enduring those struggles. And they don’t always make you stronger. Sometimes, they wreck your life, your health, and everything you’ve worked all your life to build. Platitudes like this only serve to show how little empathy we have for one another’s struggles. This meme could also be said as “Suck it up, Buttercup, and keep marching.” -Not particularly great advice for those who have lost the ability to march.
