I do know it’s just another day and we can do it anytime during the year, but for some of us it is just a way of resetting and cleansing!! Sadly, no. I realize too much that New Year’s and years (months, Days, etc.) is just a simple (and somewhat silly) measure of cycles around the sun. I feel this in part because I had the best relationship in my life in a pretty short period of time. I have always dreaded the New Year. It just meant another year of incomplete goals and loneliness had passed. This year I’ve found my Hope. I am looking forward to what 2016 has to bring. Knowing even if I am still alone, it’s OK. I have much more in life to look forward to.
