It depends upon the feeling of both lovers. If you start only in a fast relationship without true love of course it end up fast but if u really fall in love at first sight it will last longer.

Yes it’s true …it happen to me.. We become friend for a week.. And we had been in good relationship, after about a month he just disafair not saying even one word to say goodbye…

Not so screwed this is true. I met my now husband for only two weeks and I knew he would be the one. Sounds very cheesy I know. But going on 9 years now. Not saying it has been easy. I mean we almost split up but that was lack of communication. But we are still together and making it. I think it’s more people get bored faster. But if you are truly in love anything can happen!!

I don’t think this is true per se. It’s individualized for every couple. I’ve had fast relationships that lasted a long time and slow ones that crashed and burned easily. This is way too general to cover actual human relationships.

Everyone has a different pace, but I will say time has the power you give it. A year could be fast, and there’s still more to learn or it could be slow and you find you’re ready. When you know, you know. As soon as my boyfriend and I met we were inseparable and he moved in with me 2 months later. He has also done an amazing job at being a father figure to my 3 kids. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

I wish my last relationship would of lasted but things moved way to fast so if and when I find someone new I want to keep things slow till that person is comfortable and till they tell me that they are ready to move faster in a relationship

My mum and step dad met… 2 weeks later started dating, 3 days later he moved in and less than 3 months later they got married. They have been married for almost 29 years. It truly depends on the people. Not the length of time.

It’s not always. It depends on how compatible they are and if they’re meant for each other, how good they are together. My sister met her husband in high school, they became friends when they met, they were friends for 2 weeks and then they started dating. Not true. Me and my husband met started dating right way. 4 weeks was engaged. 3 weeks later married. 10 months afterwards was having are baby girl. This February we will be married for 3 years.

Not sways the case. I met my SO while we were both dating other people. He flirted…I ignored it. We ended up becoming friends on facebook later, because we kept running into eachother (like weekly and talking when we saw eachother). Not always true. A couple I know hooked up the first night they met. Years later they’re still together and now happily married.

Not always. My kid brother got his girlfriend pregnant when they were teens and barely started dated. 20 yrs later that kid is in college and the other in high school. They are the happiest couple I know. So there is no rule really.

We too often judge the quality of a relationship based on time…there are many long relationships that are completely devoid of love…I would not call that a success.

I took my time and it fell apart immediately after she went on holiday. It soley depends on how well you build the foundation of your relationship. Trust, respect and communication dictate the success of a relationship.

Not true for everyone. I’ve known couples that moved in together after a couple of months of their first date and stayed together for the duration, and other couples that took 10 years to marry and had split within a year of marrying.

Me and my husband started up in a whirlwind super fast relationship I got pregnant and that was 18 1/2 years ago. So not true for everyone.

So true…he was moving to fast for me I needed him to slow down… he finally agreed to slow down.. in no time our friendship/relationship ended. I was left heartbroken.

My husband and I met…fell in love. And married in less than two months…we were married for almost thirty three years…and he passed away from his second bought with Cancer…

I don’t think there’s really a set amount of time you have to be friends before you date, date before you move in, move in before you get married etc. I think everyone should just move at the pace they are comfortable with. Not all relationships that start fast end fast. Just like not all relationships that move slow end slow. It all depends on the people in the relationship and their feelings for each other.
