Text your CURRENT girlfriend…not a bunch of EXES

Sometimes people are working and can’t text back right away. Doesn’t mean shit. People need to stop being so insecure and needy.

People shouldn’t expect instant replies to their texts. People have jobs, friends and family outside of a relationship and if someone is going to get upset that you took 40 minutes to reply that shows how insecure, clingy and controlling they are. I’ve taken much longer up to a day to return a text cause I have a life outside of being glued to my phone.

Well, sometimes it’s hard to text back right away if you’re workin’ or have somethin’ going on. But always try to touch base when you can throughout the day.

Love is costly. And many supposedly “dating coaches” are rip offs. The sure fire secret to win his love, how to get your man back etcetera etcetera. Those are useless. If the guy loves you, he loves you. Period.

What if you have a job that requires you to be present with the person in front of you with a no cell phone protocol??? How can you convey that you are still there and care deeply about the conversation but will be busy for 45 minutes or so and not make your “person” mad or feel insignificant?

1. Discard rules 1-4 and actually communicate in person or talk on the phone!

Really? Texting should not be that important to a relationship. You know what is a good foundation to a relationship? Allowing the other person to have space when they need it, and not being clingly as hell. This is what causes people to think that the other person is cheating or doing bad stuff just because they don’t respond within minutes. When I have friends that didn’t respond all day, and then say that they were out doing stuff, I think ” good for you, I’m happy that you are able to take some time for yourself”

Take as long as you want to reply unless it’s an emergency…. My boyfriend and I go days without texting. Our lives are busy and we don’t have to be glued to our phones to know that we care deeply for one another. We will say all of the things we want when we are together in person

Wakeup people learn to communicate stop running your relationships with each other through texting its lazy and also get misinterpreted !! If you base your relationship off texting you have no business being in a relationship period! Then people wonder why relationship don’t last these days !

Rules are made to be broken especially if your a whiney gf just to make you a snivel more.

I prefer to talk to her on the phone or in person so much is misconstrued on text messages

@Relationship Rules… I think your relationship standards are ridiculously high and everyone will be forever single for not having the ability to realize that there are compromises to be made in a relationship not rules. There is never any rules with relationships. If you want rules stay in high school. Want a relationship with real love, learn to compromise.

Maybe some rules need to be set when entering into a mature adult relationship. Seriously how can you expect a career minded man or women to respond to every message you have sent. They could be in the middle of a meeting or a company audit or maybe driving When you have randomly texted them anyways at the end of the day If this does not make you happy maybe you need to find someone WITHOUT goals …IDK

Were these rules written for grade schoolers? I’m a bit of a grammar/spelling Nazi, come on now, we’ve all been the victim of bad autocorrect, clumsy fingers or just plain busy and trying to send a quick response because apparently having to wait more than a moment is an excuse for an argument.
