how true. I always say this to my husband. he can say I love you a trillion times and it’s meaningless with the actions he’s used. I’ve told him, I don’t want to hear words, I want to see and feel it. Nothing changes. still them same. oh well, their loss.

Lol everything that’s posted on here I could totally relate to it because of the shit i put up with my ex. This was just ONE of the many problems I had with him. Making empty promises to me and telling me things that his actions contradicted. When I called him out on it, he reverted all the blame back on me… Never acknowledged his mistakes and apologized. So ya, one of the many reasons he’s now an EX ?

What you do always speaks louder than what you say. At the same time, if you keep forgiving the same behavior that someone apologizes for over and over and over than you have taught them it’s ok to engage in it and continue to hurt you.

A second thought before you speak can prevent a lifetime of empty apologies. Once the words roll off of your tongue, you can not take them back, and the word sorry becomes smaller and more insignificant each time you say it; more so when you see it again and again to the same person the same thing. This is not a dress rehearsal people, life is short; surround yourself with people you love. Remember, the world is full of acquaintances, but most of us can count our true friends on one hand and have digits left over.

true sometimes were just too blind to see that people cannot change if they dont see the issue in their actions and ways people get tired of giving chances!
