Yes to still wanting someone during the hard times, love supersedes those hard times. Loving your partner enough to want to work through life’s difficulties, together.

“Still wanting” the person by your side is not proving you’re “good at love”. Love is something you do. It’s a verb. Being good at romantic love is being good at giving … making effort … It’s finding a way to PROVE you’re adoration, admiration, respect and loyalty while “in love” … every day. Love is something you give. It’s something you DO.
