I found this out recently. Trying to handle my own stuff and not opening up to the man I love. He left. And I am so sad. I love him so much and regret not letting him know every opportunity I had. I’m praying I will get another chance.

true ,, sometimes someone ignore us because they know that we will always understand them, they take us for granted because they know that theres so many chances ,, but what if it really hurts , we need to give up already not bec u dnt love them but bec he dont love u anymore,,he nver gve value to ur relationship, he nver value ur love.

I never fully understood that phrase. Does take for granted meaning you don’t say thank you? Or something else?

In life I’ve met people who are just so unemotional that they see nothing wrong in taking people for granted. They think that as long as the person who’s being used isn’t aware that he/she is being, it somehow makes it ok to use them.

So true… So many take others for granted and play games. Sad thing they don’t even realize that their actions show more than what they say… They may say all the right things, but following through and being honest is the true way to be true with each other….

Sometimes you have to spoil them with love and attention, sometimes its the little things like back rubs after a long day, coming home with flowers, a surprise date night, or make her dinner. Spoiling doesn’t have to revolve around money. Why is that concept so hard for men to understand? Just because you say you love someone doesn’t mean you can stop trying to show it. WHat happened to dating and courting?

Don’t take people for granted. No matter how much they love you, people get tired eventually. We are all given chances, but you never know when the last chance may be.

People don’t give relationships a chance.

My wife and I are both very low maintenance people, so we both took each other for granted. Now we’re getting divorced after 30 years of marriage because of it. I hope others reading this understand that low maintenance is not the same as no maintenance. You have to work at the relationship every day. You have to stay closely connected. A great relationship like we used to have really is worth the effort. Don’t let a break-up be your eye-opener too.

When you love someone, make sure to show them everyday how much you mean to them. One day that person may be gone and we may regret for not showing much love when we had that chance.
