How do you start loving yourself?

A guy I used to date (who was a jerk) asked to see pictures of me when I was a kid…so before our next date I looked through my moms old pictures and it mad me really sad. I thought about the little girl in those pictures, she deserved way better than what the adult me was putting up with, it was an “aha moment” for sure!
