Absolutely correct. You cannot fi,x something that cannot be fixed. Maybe it’s just that he wants to slowly ooze out the relationship and doesn’t have the balls to be a man and say so. Do yourself a huge favor and dump the chump and move on. He ll drag you on till doomsday and there’s no end to it until you end it.

This is true but if that person that screwed up the most comes back and has changed how they are completely and shows that they are willing to be better and work through all the crap they put the other person through and means it with all of their heart I think that it is worth trying to give them one last chance to see if they mean everything they said. It will take time for things to work better but if that person is serious about what they said I think that a relationship will be a lot stronger.

Yes, knowing that you’ve had enough and to stop caring as much as you once did in order to walk away hurts and takes a lot of self endurance. Because remebering that you once cared so much for this relationship keeps holding you back.

No one truly understands what you’re going through and its somewhat hard sometimes explaining to others how you truly feel. Therefore, it’s a fight between you and your feelings.

The worst part is that they take you for granted all the time. The more you seem to take things easy, the more smothering they become.

this is exactly my current situation. for the past 2 weeks I have tried to be hopeful that one day we will be able to get through this and knowing the person well enough that he will change and that i just needed to give him time for both of us. Whenever we try talking things just go nowhere and finally i realized i’ve had enough. What if you love this person more than anything, how do you ever give up on that?

I’ve been through this more times than I can count! Sometimes it can’t be fixed no matter how hard you try! People grow apart want different things. I stayed in a relationship to long because at the end of the day I didn’t want to start over. Finally there came a day where I was tired and had enough of the constant fighting,crying and getting nothing in return.
