Most don’t see it that way and it is why 98% of relationships don’t last now days. They all just take and take and take anymore until there’s nothing else left. Then they crush the rest while leaving out the door!!!! Thats how today’s relationships go that I’ve been seeing. Its one sided one way or the other

I’ve tried giving and got taken advantage of and I don’t know how to ask because I’m sometimes too proud or independent so I feel stuck. Not sure where to go from here, but I would be willing to give again, knowing it is someone who would reciprocate mutually and not be one-sided. Is that still being selfish? Hmmmm.
