I’ve always said when I want to talk about things, “complain about things,” then you know I still care and want to fight for it to work. When I go silent is when you need to worry because I know longer care enough to say anything!

It depends whether silence is due to level of comfort if they are introvert. This means they are comfortable with you. But for a talkative or extrovert person to go silent means she doesn’t care any more 🙂

Sometimes it’s used to mask the hurt one feels because the other person’s silence shows indifference and you wonder which one is worse; the indifference which says he doesn’t care or the inconsideration which says you don’t matter.

Or they are just selfish, self absorbed assholes!
