mostly people dont want to hurt us… they dont want that kinda shit on their conscience along with answering your questions… thats where lying comes into the picture… makes it convenient for them… as long as their life is convenient….

Just be honest, after all you know that you will hurt someone. So hurt him/her bigtime with the truth so the person will no longer have to go back to you with questions and so that person can just move forward

We are all going to hurt each other. It is a fact of this life. You can hurt someone’s feelings without harming them. If you are not kind to them, even when you know you will hurt their feelings, it does the other person no good. And if you can’t be kind in the process, it’s best to say nothing at all and just move on.
