This is like the saying one day at a time. It helps to say it out loud and remind yourself to “be present” and enjoy the here and now, otherwise your missing out on the good going on right now.

So in other words…. don’t trust your gut and keep getting cheated on or waste multiple months or years in a situation you know to be wrong. Get some common sense. This site has so many bs “rules” that are so off target of someone uses their brain.
