WRONG! Mature love says you complement me. I don’t need you but I want you. Looking for a need will never lead to happiness but adding to happiness will get you to a higher level of consciousness of it.

True love is saying I want you, but I don’t need you. If I didn’t have you I’d still live. It’s better to be wanted than needed.

it should be ” I love you because you complete me, you and I make us whole, we become one. Together we can stand against all the world has to throw at us because I have you by my side.”

The Christian in me agrees with this post. We are TAUGHT to NEED another to “complete”,not necessarily compliment. Adam needs his rib, agreed.
