So if my partner and I have been together for 12 months and have only had 1 fight … What does that mean?
We disagree on things and get cranky at each other but we don’t fight…. :/

wouldn’t say it defines true love, but it’s definitely a crucial factor when a couple can talk about things they disagree on and just choose to put their love above their anger. Obviously lol.

Its ok if there is minor cute arguments which are meant to joke around….. but real arguments related to conflict between couple should be avoided at all cost…. if there is any conflicts between couple, they should sit down and discuss about it nicely, so they can understand each and every word they discuss… this make things easier to solve the prob… instead, if they argue and quarel about it, all they heard are shouting and noises, instead of solving conflicts…. this make things worse, and nothing will be solved

Arguments are apart of life……its what comes out your mouth that matters …… if u love that person as much as you say, then you wont hurt them in a argument……..its all about communication

I disagree. Arguments do not demonstrate if it is true love. Arguments are simply a lack of communication or an outburst of unprocessed emotion. Now the resolution and a couples ability to work through those arguments display how much love and respect they have for one another..

My wife and I have been together for 19 years, married for 17. We have had one (1) agreement in that entire time. Does that mean we have a problem because we don’t argue ? I think if you are with the right person, everything comes together like peas & carrots. You both have the same outlooks, feelings and needs in life. When it’s “all good”, there are no need for arguments. Life is too short for all that drama.

I agree arguing can be a test but do not agree that arguing is a true test of love. If that statement were true then the more you argue the more you love each other? No, the more you argue the more you need to reevaluate the relationship. Don’t waste your life trying to “make” a relationship work–true love isn’t that hard !

Arguments show your differences.It’s up to you to be the bigger person and bring peace. My spats with my sweetie has actually brought us closer bkuz we see one faults, know neither is perfect, and build from that to better ourselves and our relationship. If you want your relationship to work we as adults must realize each moment is not going to fireworks.
