I disagree, you don’t always get what you put into a relationship. You should always do unto others as you would have them do unto you – but you cannot make someone follow suit.

It’s a practice that it doesn’t always work on some people and that’s a shame…….

People (i.e. humans) are selfish, but there are rare chances were you get what you give (positive means) if that’s what you want. It takes a big heart and being humble to keep being nice and loving though you don’t get back what you put in. Most people would say that’s just being stupid/ or letting yourself be taken advantage of, I disagree to a extent.
