Or just stop doing those things completely. Her/his feelings aren’t valid anyway. Who cares how it makes her/him feel? Or if it gets to her/him so much that they start to build resentment because you won’t bother doing something so small even though you know it means so much to her/him yet you can do it for others ? Eventually the tables turn…And he/she won’t even notice.
