Not always true. Reconnected with this man whom I’d known since elementary school five years ago. Both of us are in our 50’s. I thought he was ready to settle down after his horrid relationship history. Not so!! He has a restaurant and he would try to get with every female worker and patron who walks through the door. Even when you show ur tired of the games, and you match loyalty and everything it is still not good enough! Nowadays one little spat or disagreement and they are done. They move on to the next guy, and stay with him awhile until the honeymoon stage is over.. reality sets in an things aren’t perfect. Then it’s ok I’m done on to the next 3 month rlship. I find this hard to believe. I’m no saint, I’m perfectly imperfect but damn!! At the first sign of tension or discomfort, they’re arguing with you and take off for days at a time, sleeping around with ANYTHING that has legs!! I gave far too much, tolerated more than most and one too many times!! I can’t imagine opening up my heart, my secrets and my dreams again!! That’s why I have a dog!! ???

Absolutely! Sometimes the door closes on a relationship, not because we failed but because something better is coming. There will be a time when you look back and be thankful that certain people, opportunities & things were removed from your life because one of the best feelings in the world is when you finally discover how much you are valued and appreciated by soneone, when someone else has made you feel that you are worthless. You are loved beyond measure.
