  • I did that once, lost everything including my sanity & myself in the end.
    Passion’s a fool’s game.

  • There’s a fine line between following your instincts and being a dumbshit

  • I did exactly that!! Result…….I have been living in Greece for 17 years, wonderful hubby, two beautiful gals and a job that keeps us all from starving and a roof over our heads! 🙂

  • That can be a problem when your instincts have proven time and again to be as useful as an instruction manual for cereal.
You get to a point where you dread your instincts, because you presume they’ll be wrong once more and leave you broken.

  • Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. If logic says otherwise, it’s probably a good idea to not trust ur instincts… U don’t wanna end up saying, “Oh man…i KNEW it was a bad idea…and did it anyway..”

  • Ok in case of love as well??
Odds are against me.. she left me..
But my instincts say just go for it..
    ._.
People say m crazy and miserable that I’m still hoping for that.. but I don’t know why my guts and my instincts don’t let me really give up on her…

  • Depends on what it is that you’re doing. I’m sure if you think in your heart that it is absolutely necessary to slash women and kill them, then you are a psychopath and need help. So let’s not force people to be passionate all the time when they can in fact hurt themselves or others if they ignore the proper logical process of the brain in control not their emotions.

  • Once, I was willing to give up everything. Fortunately it didn’t come so far – thank god! May all of you be protected from taking such decissions from now on. Why should it be always us to give up things for others?- this game certainly works the other way round as well. Raise your expectations 😉

  • I’m all for the sentiment, fail or succeed, it’s good to go for it at least once even when sense says otherwise. I keep getting stuck on “listen to your instincts”. I don’t think they make sound. They may push and pull you, but “logic” is far more of a loud mouth.

  • Uh huh. But remember the difference between spontaneous and impulsive- especially when your instincts are centered on perceived threats or self preservation. Avoid absolutes- and accept consequences.

  • Ya that’s bullshit. I regularly have these thoughts and if I acted on them my life would be a catastophic mess!!! Your gut instinct will only be accurate about 50% of the time……you might as well flip a coin for the same results.

  • And ignore influences of others and information that seems contrary to everything you have experienced, at least be very skeptical of friends advice because they often have ulterior and selfish motives even if they appear otherwise.

  • I did this twice, both times leaving phenomenal jobs for the allure of an easy lay. It never worked out, but it’s advanced my career further than I could have ever imagined.

  • I would say… go for it. But if its possible and you’re not sure, give yourself some time to decide. Take your time. Let it last. Keep all gates open. Dont rush it.

  • You do know that’s called Tunnel Vision…and not to add that’s how most stock traders become homeless. FFS . ALWAYS USE LOGIC. If your heart was meant to do the thinking part …who the fuck would pump the blood.
