I feel almost like I see these in chronological order which gives me hope for my relationship with my family.

I tried. I really really tried. There was no way it was ever going to work with only one of us doing all the work.

Yeah I’ve tried that before. Still don’t work. The negatives usually outweighs the positives.

It’s so much worse when there’s only one reason it can’t work, and there is nothing you can do to change it. Worse still when it’s not something you or your partner did…

There’s always more than one reason to make it work only some people do that much damage that they can’t try again coz of the lies they told !!! They would look like a complete twat if they were to come bk

Some people give up and say they can’t fix anything and just jump into another relationship because they don’t love you.. truth is .they’re cowards and can’t swallow their pride to mend the hurt they have caused.

I feel like this is horrible advice for abusive relationships, which they often won’t admit is abusive, and you just gave them their go to line to use when people ask why they stay in said relationship

Oh jeez. First of all….this is dependent on the type of reasons we’re talking about. Second, if there’s only one reason to stay together you should probably reflect on why that is. Bleh, this is awful advice for people who are in toxic relationships to hear.
