Relationship Rules
Not if your President elect…you get rid of the old house and replace it with a new younger one and have your buttler replace the bulbs in your 14 ct gold chandalier as needed.
When heart is broken u just need to mend it fix it yourself by replacing it with a whole new fixture and enjoy the light u have
No, you replace the lightbulb. Not the best advice…
This is a terrible analogy….light bulbs can’t be fixed….they have to be changed…
Replace the bulb! Like replacing the person that was in your life!
Some think they are going to find a house where nothing ever breaks…
Can’t fix the lightbulb in a house with no electricity..
Fuck relationships. Even the word annoys me. “Relationship.” Ugh.
you’ll be surprise how many people this generation wouldn’t hesitate to buy a new house instead.
I got sick of the bulb turning into the electrical system, turning into everything else that addiction turns it into. So I DID get a new house and an damn proud of myself for doing it by myself. My boys and I are better off. ❤
In today’s society everything is disposable and replaceable…. even people.
that why you are very successful in life and own more than one house so when one dont have life you go visit the other ones. there is enough for everyone just be patient lol
Or if the whole electrical system is bad, and even the electrical company is so wrong, just burn the dammed place. You need another house.
Actually you replace the light bulb,… Really a bad analogy,…
What a dumb analogy, you replace a light bulb not fix it, you literally throw it out and replace it…. this is like saying you replace each other, not fix each other… good grief…
U just buy a new lightbulb. A burnt out lightbulb can’t be fixed, it has to be replaced. Maybe this is a bad analogy? Idk. Maybe not.
After the bulb repeatedly burns out one becomes certain theres a underlying issue & instead of replacing the bulb you either just leave it burned out replace more than the bulb fixing the deeper seated issue
Soooo many comments focused on the light bulb instead of the house! Fixing the burnt out bulb does involve buying a new bulb to replace the burnt out bulb but that’s how you fix it, in the same house! Geez are people really this ridiculous!?!? No wonder people can’t keep a relationship together!
**If your choice here is really a light bulb or a house**)
If the light bulb doesn’t want to be fixed or continues to keep “burning out” knowing it will leave bad consequences at the house, then you leave that old stubborn light bulb in that house and move on.
Except the ‘house’ is ok with u trying to fix it. If the partner in the relationship does not want the relationship fixed then no matter how hard u try it’s just like pouring water to the sea to dilute the salt there – waste of ur time! Being smart is knowing when to walk away. Or like sell when share prices are starting to go down. Because if u keep sitting on it hoping it will go back up then u’ll end up empty handed! Cut ur losses and invest better next time is my motto! ??
Except when you change the light bulb over and over again and check the tires and fuse box , and the light still won’t turn on. And it’s in a common room where you really need a light. So you get so annoyed that you eventually decide to move out of that house.
Exactly you don’t just run away at the smallest issue. Most things can be worked out. Don’t be a coward and run and hide. Communication can help fix a lot of things. Just went through this where my ex had terrible communication and ended the relationship over nothing and was a coward and hid behind her phone.
Unless it has cracking crumbling foundation because it was never properly built. Then you should probably leave the house because it has too many problems and will collapse if you stay much longer.
Well if it turns out that more than the two original people were using the same bed, you should probably burn the house to the ground before getting a new one.
Or if your significant other doesn’t want to talk about things to resolve the issue…..that’s when its time to move on. You don’t need someone who can’t communicate about small things with you.
