Relationship Rules
I usually stop arguing because I don’t want the arguments between us going too far and creating a fight. I stop, and let us have a moment to think about the reasons that lead us to this. Then when we talk again, we’ll see what’s wrong and and what’s right, and then laugh together when we realize those things that we argue are so silly.
Amen to that….its extremely tiring to have to deal with the nonsense over and over…. You just reach a point where it’s easier to be alone…
In long relationships you realise some things aren’t worth fight about. You let the annoying things go and get on with life.
It isn’t always that someone is no longer worth the fight; sometimes you just realize that you have to just agree to disagree.
Why argue in the first place? It’s childesh. The minute a person I’m with raises his voice, I’ll walk away and lock myself in the bedroom. You sit and talk it out, not fight. I don’t get how woman nag their partners to the point of argueing, dumb.
This isn’t true! I wanted nothing more than to fight till death but I also deserve ALL, gotta walk away if not getting what I deserve.
Or she’s just tired of getting all her self worth beat out of her. I feel so empty 🙁 My heart hurts so much. I can’t take it anymore
People get tired of fighting and arguing when the other person keeps pushing you away and you keep telling them your pushing me away and they do nothing to change that…
When the other doesn’t fight to keep you….then yes sadly no sense in it. Even tho you know its worth it…it hurts so very much….someday your ex will realize what he or she had…that is of course they grow up and realize that your family..etc should come before an addiction…come before your hoes. oh my I could go on.
Amen, sometimes you have to step back and let them figure out what you are worth to them there is not a time that go by that a woman should ask her man to do something for her that he know that needs to be done and he has the ability to do it without any charge,it shows that they don’t care or your needs only theirs. Some of them want to be secretive, decietful, and selfish, instead of been openly with you.A woman sometimes reach the point where she is feed up,it is not that we don’t think that the man is not worth… Read more »
Not totally convinced this is true. My ex and I used to argue daily towards the end. Because getting out my anger with an argument is much better than committing murder to a complete bellend.
I totally argree on this but in the other hand i dont, we argue a lot like always, because of my mood swings and such although he got bad shits attitude too, but then he stop arguing i notice his getting cold, fading, something is offbhe easily being grumpy and i realize its me who made it that far so i told him ill make it up for us, i know his tired but his trying to not let me go and i see that to him hence why i told him i needed to fix myself for us to be… Read more »
It isn’t really that they are no longer worth the fight, sometimes we just get tired. Sometimes we have to step back and remember what it was we were fighting for.
This is true… i fought the fight… i absolutely miss my best friend .. on top of forgiving him and still calling.. still making the effort to patch things on His wrongs doings. Guess hes at peace with himself somehow? .. but my fight has been done. I love from a distance and still and always with love wish him well.
It doesn’t always mean we think our partner isn’t worth it but that our partner has made us feel we’re not worth it, so what’s the point.
This isn’t even just women though. Anyone can feel so drained that they just stop arguing and walk away. They reached a time they just don’t care anymore and are tired of giving themselves to something that is only detrimental.
Or you both could admit where you messed and say you’re sorry and actively not do those things which caused the fighting in the first place. It’s hard to love someone when you label them as your enemy and not your best friend and companion. No one is perfect, therefore, while he or she did something outrageously stupid, the other person always has the option to handle the situation without yelling, screaming, and being plain mean. It IS possible, it’s just YOUR choice. And if love doesn’t help them want to change and improve, then go and be happy. You… Read more »
More like if you’re arguing all the time, you both are probably done.
And if she doesn’t argue at all, just make sure he/she isn’t just holding it in. But then again, you’re adults. He/she should speak up when there’s no agreement. You can’t police those who don’t speak.
Yes. Or maybe she stopped arguing because she is deeply hurt.
That’s what happened to me. He didn’t respect me or my home and to me that meant he didn’t really love me. It’s okay though. Shortly after I realized this, I no longer loved him. It was actually a relief. Bye bye.
True story or even they don’t want to listen to it and openly tell you. It tells you they don’t really care especially when they want to play the blame game instead of listen time what you’re saying
If someone really loves you, they will not make u feel dumb. U may have done something bad in the relationship but if they really wanted you, they will forgive u and they will never ever make u cry because of pain and sadness.
Exactly….n my fight is finally done 🙂 no more beggin n pleadin for the things that should have been a given to me from the very beginnin…but u never could see my worth-just what u wanted to change me into. Some things n life r just meant to be set free 🙂
The unfortunate truth is that a person can drain you to the point where you feel nothing at all. That’s when it’s time to take the step back and figure out what you want for YOU. And there’s absolutely no wrong in doing so.
