This is bollocks, when I was younger I always thought there’s no point spending time with some if you don’t see a future. I was wrong. I’ve had some very loving relationships and sadly some not so. But to think the next one is the one im going to marry is just ludicrous. “I pick” someone because I like their company, anyone. All my friends included. I like what they bring out in me. And that’s not dating, it’s still just a friendship but some more intimate than others.

Why do ya have to get married? It’s an over rated piece of paper that gets ya a lil extra on taxes. Chances are you already have kids and that tax credit, why ruin things with marriage?

I would correct the word marriage with “a life partner”, because you can choose somebody as a life partner even if you’re not considering marrying in a short time 🙂 but yes, I agree with this so much.

🙂 am I the only person who thinks that should be any age? It just seems like a waste to date at any age if you do not think it could be serious. 🙂

Just remember these few rules of dating and hunting a husband;
1– Dating and then stalking are not ok.
2– Honesty is always the best policy.
3– If you hunt down that super special person, always honor them.
4– If you hunted them, tag them as yours.
5– If you tag them as yours, make sure you and they understand the tag.
6– Dress them up if it’s love, gut them and dress them out if they cheat.

I’m in a serious relationship now and he wants to get married and I don’t I’m almost 40 I’ve been married twice. Wish it were true for me. But my recent past performance indicates I’m picking unwisely. Just for fun and to avoid absolute loneliness.
The result? A genuine fuck boy that takes but never gives. A guy with zero prospects and enough excuses to cover a litany of lies, half truths and deliberate omissions that would rival the lowest of certain members of society.

From my point of view: Age is merely part of the issue, i believe the bullet point abt this matter is the individual ” mindset” and how each one values and defines the word ” marriage”. While some take it crucial others simply take it like a simple game.

I don’t know about dating for marriage right now but I am dating for love. Not just a hook up. I’m recently divorced and I dated for marriage back then, now I’m dating for love and romance and everything awesome in a relationship. Doesn’t always have to lead to marriage

So many people I know say they are dating for marriage,but then again sometimes it doesn’t look that way.They date too young,just for looks,bed before marriage,newly separated,and some even late night boody calls or one night stands.I wish some of the people who are telling everyone they are dating for marriage actually appear they are doing just that,and stop sabotaging themselves as the years march on.Just Saying?

When you finally understand what it is to love someone, you are not afraid to commit. The weirder part to it is that while you are confident in yourself to know you could find someone else if you wanted to, you don’t want to, because no one else lights up your life like the one who filled that place in your heart you didn’t know was empty until you met them.
