Being single is better than being in a wrong/bad relationship or to be in bad company. choosing to be single isn’t selfish, it’s just smarter to be alone than with the wrong person.

I stayed single and celibate for 15 years so I would know the right one when I met him. 2.5 years ago, I thought I had. So I married him. Not altogether sure it was the best thing for me.

There have been times my eyes have seen more tears than my lips have felt smiles. For that, I am thankful. It has showed me my strength. And I refuse to allow anyone else to ever determine my own self worth, besides ME, ever again. Just because you’re too blind to see it, definitely doesn’t mean it’s not there and I will be just fine waiting for the one that does see it. Because that’s what I deserve. It’s what we all deserve.

So many seem to think having anyone so they’re not alone and/or money for more luxury is better than being single so that could be taken as the person coming in making improvement in their lives. The person isn’t it, but they look past the dissatisfying partner bits for the other benefits in cases.
