It’s getting more and more difficult to work that way unless both sides are equally yolked up to the load . And pulling it in the same direction.

And “takin care” of your partner doesn’t just mean cookin for them, makin love to them, always bein there for them when health gets bad. “Takin care” is also makin sure you respect your partner and the love Yall have together. Don’t cross boundaries, and make sure your partner feels as if their heart is absolutely safe in your hands, and that you’ll never betray them! Give your partner peace of mind!

You said it Duchane, it’s not about a particular thing(s) it’s about sharing everything as a couple, not everything has to be shared there are other things with family or kids that can be separated for whatever reason.

Bottom line… they should be taking care of themselves and working together. Dependency on another person is just poison and that’s what eventually happens if you “take care” of each other for so long. What happens when you break up? Then you have no freaking idea how to live for you or how to take care of yourself!
