Once I was dealing with a problem with forgiveness. I asked a man of the cloth how I should handle it.
His response was, “We are called to forgive. We are not called to be stupid.”

Just like a saying that “Forgive but don’t forget” huh…..LOL

I already forgive those who hurt me and I’ve moved on…

Some people think forgiveness means to go back, pray and hope you don’t get hurt again. Enough is enough!

forgive give you achance to be respectable if you can control of your hurt storm then you trust in divin justics & GOD will look at you

I wasn’t saying quit. Sometimes you need to step up your game. Show the other person how much you care, why you worry about them, etc.

Forgive, but don’t make yourself a fool to anyone. In my experience recently forgiveness is taken as a free pass to continue the same behavior.

True,enough is enough.the only reason why i must forgive is to seek peace unto myself.but never again to get closer,it’s really foolishness.enough is enough,never hurt our self again.there were lots of beautiful things the world can offer.only we need to find it, primarily begin unto ourself.we must love our self before anything.

When someone spends all there free time looking at these qoutes that are all great quotes she robs herselfd out of effort she could of used to heal. I don’t know if I agree with this….. We want complete forgiveness, from others plus God- shouldn’t we be bold enough to Give it! Things can’t heal if the wound stays open…..

After many times of forgiving I have finally made the decision to walk away and love myself more. I know God has someone who will cherish, appreciate and love me the way I deserve to be. I will bounce back up again.

Forgivness is Forgiveness period. No reservations. For all eternity, no matter how many times you have to repeat the process, its not our place to judge one another, no matter how hard it is, begin with yourself, but its the only way to feel better and live a hapier life.

Right.. I let this special person in just so he could hurt me.. Time after time I went running back. But this last time was different. I forgave him not only because of what he’s done but for me as well. To moving on without him in my life. I walked away not because I gave up but because I’m winning a losing battle.. He’ll always have a place in my heart because I did love him but I can’t keep coming in last place to him..

To forgive and move on, it allows peace within yourself for things you can not change. You can’t make people like or love you. You hope in the future they will come around, until then I wait.

You know I heard a Pastor preach the same thing, but of course different words, God says to forgive but doesn’t want you to become a door mat either. Saying no is not a bad thing or a sin.
