There should never be a transaction of “winning” in a relationship! It already suggests that there are sides to be taken! That in and of itself is adversarial. Never a good foundation for sharing a life together!

You both make changes of you really want the other in your life, not because you need them, because you want them. Then you make changes for the better and for a better relationship.

Yeah i had to learn that the hard way its tough finding a young lady who genuinely likes me and won use me but god got someone for me and he has someone for everybody.

Sometimes you have to change and become a better you! Relationships are about love, compromise and being open to change (both parties) to develop a deeper, richer, more meaningful relationship and life!

Unless what that person wants is for you to be the person you want/try to be. In which case it would be in your best interest to keep them and to make those changes. That’s a double win.

Sometimes you need to change in order to grow. Some people miss out because they choose to stay stagnant in their life choices, or they change too late and miss out. Don’t be afraid of change. And dont wait too late to change. Especially if it is for the better. Now, if you have your life together and you’re on their right path, then don’t change. If you aren’t, then you need to make a plan on what you’re going to do to change for yourself and to make your life better.
