Actually, “official” or not, if you really love someone you simply have no eyes for anyone else full stop. You don’t have to “stay loyal” – it’s more a matter of whether you love someone.

Dated a guy when I was 19. He broke up with me 3 days before Christmas and then strung my naive ass along, telling me it was only for awhile. I can only concentrate on one guy at a time. I don’t know how people can have multiples, one is difficult enough. A person knows if someone is worth waiting for or not. Loyalty when things are unofficial in my opinion says a lot about someone that has everything to do with a person’s heart and character as an individual which radiates into the relationship and type of partner they will be. It doesn’t necessarily mean insecurity, to me it means I’m a loyal person straight up no matter what situation.
