This is way too much truth in a short statement.

I save all the precious text messages my husband sends me like a 13 year old girl. Lol but it helps to read them when I’m feeling so down.

Re-reading old messages is like… repeating the mistakes.
Its difficult bt possible…jst delete it.

Or re reading old messages and putting you in a worse mood for the rest of the day, because you came across a conversation you wanted to forget about. Reality is already slapping you in the face on that one. heh

Rereading old messages genuinely breaks my heart sometimes (pms yo) however relationships grow and change what you lose is often no where nearly good as what you gain x

I cried when I got a new phone and lost the last time he said he loved me. Now? I’m kinda glad it’s gone. It’s one less thing to make me cry.

That’s me till now i have all the sweet messages from someone i love.. I can’t delete in my box i like reading it that’s why i can’t move on coz i don’t want too pictures all the memory’s from the past i want to keep it forever. Very true. ..for me it reminds me of the changes and times we grow through and the lesson learned through experiences. ..Amen

Yup.. Sometimes it’s changes for the good! Which can make you smile all day! and sometimes it’s been bad changes or you remember promises that never happened or lies that were made.

I’m bad about this. I reminisce too much. Good thing and a bad thing. Goes both ways for different ppl. Some, it Can make you happy, by remembering those beginning good memories, or can make you sad if things are no longer like they were. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

This was me a while ago, I’ve re-read our conversations/messages and it hurts me so badly..I wish I’d forget everything but it always lingers in my mind..sooooo sad :'(

This couldn’t be more true. I wonder how the hell could I have been fooled that much. A very sweet guy, smart too, unfortunately slightly delusional and a curse of insecurity.

reading my old messages has been uplifting to see how grounded my faith is and while I have change it is by the grace of God

Thats why you have to delete them so there will never be an excuse to look back to the happy or sad times..focus on whats happening now and move forward..life should not be spent backwards?

That’s why you slap reality back by deleting them cuz realizing shit that don’t matter is not worth it – things change good or bad
