I get this 100% I’m trying to shut it down. My bf loves me I know this absolutely but those dark thoughts creep in from time to time. I’m still learning to deal with them. What’s been helping me is to sit down and recognize exactly where they come from. I try not to dwell on the actual thoughts but on the whys. I still have bad days sometimes but I feel I’m doing better lately.

I always feel this way. I have been hurt so many times it hard to believe someone when they tell me they like me. I always have they fear they are going to hurt me like the others.

That’s because some people can change there minds instantly, that is a legitimate concern. If a person really cares about you as a friend, they would never lie to you about matters of the heart, what would be there motive. However if they are notreally your friend and they just want to get the boody, you probably won’t get rejected until after you put out.

Being hurt many times make me build a wall surrounding myself , always feel unsafe that my partner can leave me anytime .
