got rid of a few toxic people in my life and staying away from negative people , and living my life for me , my life is so much better and happier

It’s less than 2 months into this year. I’ve kept my priorities the same and haven’t cut anyone off since I can’t cut the ones I want to.
Besides, why would you that proud of yourself for these things unless they were toxic or your priorities were jacked? Cutting people out ,changing, or whatever priorities may seem good now, but turn out to bad things you regret later.

Letting go of someone is never an easy decision. You know it’s the right decision when your life improves.

I’m more disappointed in myself for not standing up for myself. For taking the necessary steps to change my future outcome. To be in the same situation for almost 18 years now. But the day will come when I feel strong enough to stand up for me and my kids!!

I cut someone out of my life last year and I found out he’s moving away. I pretty much jumped for joy when I heard. Good riddance.

I hear you. Got rid of 2 who were useless good’for-nothings. I feel revitalized and renewed. No more liars cheaters or money skunks.
