Yup, hard to do tho when the past keeps popping up in the present when ever it feels like it

i always tell myself but i still can not 🙁

Some people can’t handle the past!

I am telling this to myself every waking moment.

A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.

I keep reminding myself every time I remember him..Our past is just a memories and if he will come back I make sure myself I don’t love him anymore…

Yesterday took most of what I thougt I had. And what I thought I had was never mine. So did I really loose much or anything at all. Boomerang

some people need to confront their past and forgive themselves for it so that they can move on emotionally healthy otherwise every relationship they enter into will fail

some people live in the past and will never move on, even if life gives them an opportunity for a better future, they choose to stay behind. its sad really!

When life give u what it does ,We learn we don’t have control/It helps just to have a good friend to understand u for where your coming and stand back up and try to move on TIME /it’s alway Time

I’d live it and learned it…..now I realize that the past will destroy your future but gain faith. It is an experienced that I will never forget. An awful feeling but the desire to pray on it and follow God in spirit….I feel so good expressing my feelings about this. I lived and learned!!….PTL.

Sometimes your past has a way of removing something from within you and ultimately that affects your future because you just don’t feel the same person X

I need to hear this because I’m dealing with some painful and chronic problems. I forget I have a future either here or with God in Heaven. Much more to be thankful than complain about!

That’s right! Unfortunately bad past definitely can ruin the future in many different aspects if you let it and even sometimes becomes a pattern to some..some people don’t know how to control that.

I fight for love and the one person that I have to wait for I won’t walk away from like every other guy has in her past . She’s my everything I just pray to God he will make it workout . So basiclly I can’t follow this post bc my heart won’t let me . So give me other advice then this

I never understand sayings like these… so you just forget your past and just pretend that your present is all there is and everything is ok. Sounds like a sad life to me. Life’s richness comes from it’s ups and it’s downs. I don’t believe that someone who has not suffered can ever achieve happiness. The pool is to shallow, if you will, to ever be able to truly swim. Happiness is not found by trying to avoid unhappiness.

No truer words spoken… There’s so much more to look forward to in the future. Let the past stay in that past, and concentrate on the journey ahead, even if it means leaving toxic people and things behind.
