I shouldn’t marry him because he takes the time to pause a stupid game. When my boyfriend is playing his video games i tell him to stop because he isn’t paying me any attention and without that there is no connection. I’ll marry him for our spiritual emotional and mental connection. Not because he pauses pokemon.

Standards are getting embarrassingly weak these days. If you can’t put your game or phone down to spend quality time with the one you love then you don’t deserve them. If you expect a prize because you chose to be attentive and show how much you care, you should get a foot up your ass and a high five to the face. Adults can game too. It is perfectly reasonable to have a career and be a responsible adult, also while enjoying video games every once in awhile – to everyone who was saying only kids play games. Just because he pauses the game however, doesn’t necessarily make him husband material.

Honestly if he’s still playing video games he’s not marriage material. You think he will pause the game to change a diaper? I highly doubt it so run while you can!

Do not marry him. As a gaming widow I know it leads to YEARS of neglect. Then one day you realize that both you and your child have been going through life alone and you leave. It is not a marriage between spouses it’s a marriage between him and his games.
