Just talking to someone of the opposite sex (or gender you are attracted to) , however, is NOT cheating. If there is no sexting, you share the msgs and your partner is just jealous for no reason, then they are controlling & possibly psychologically abusive.

How about if your boyfriend does not let you read any of his texts or FB messages and when you ask about it he does not tell you? Or the fact that he does not give you access to his phone or computer? Is that cheating?

If you like to play pretend single online, flirt and share photos grow a pair and just leave the relationship. Emotional cheating can leave just as bad of scars and trust issues, it makes me sick what some people do even when they have amazing partners in their lives.
