Yeah disagree as well this is a very arrogant and selfish statement..I’ve already been thru this twice..being loving, selfless and supportive..then in return you get taken advantage of, used, heartbroken, unappreciated in limbo or strung along etc..going nowhere..waiting and waiting for your hopes to come true…so no I agree with Brian that they should get themselves fixed before entering into a relationship..serious or not.

Also agree with Dakota to a certain extent..but they have to be willing to make the change or if they do that will make them stronger but if they don’t it can be nothing but misery for the other person. Loving unconditionally is good in general.I believe in helping and supporting to a point..but if they are unwilling or accepting of it.. life is too short..if you see your efforts are in vain then it’s time to move on..
