I’ve learned, no one is perfect you have to learn to accept the negative and be thankful for the positives. I so could have wrote this; I know this so very well! I learn with every mistake and grow stronger so not to make them again.

I learned the hard way. I stayed with someone who never respected me and took me for granted. I stayed hoping that the person would maybe wake up one day and see what was in front of him. 6 years later, I realized that would never come, and walked away. Now I’m with someone who loves and accepts me for who I am. Walking away was hard…but sometimes you have to stop thinking of others and think about what you deserve too!

Or accept them and then walk away.

Very true. You can’t control others you can only control your behavior and decide what you’ll accept. Hopefully others see the worth you see in yourself.

They say you get what you give… not always true. Some people just don’t know how to return the respect and support you’ve given to them. It’s sad when you count on someone and they just don’t care enough. Sometimes you do need to walk away.

There is just so much that a person can take. If a person just can’t treat you right and respect you, it may be better to leave. Someone will respect and appreciate everything about you.
