I think this is unrealistic and borderline co dependent…. why wait for someone just to see if they care or not. .. live your life now…don’t lose it while someone else is living theirs… just in the hopes that they might turn around and look at you again. This world is full of happy wonderful people just looking for someone to share time with.

I think people are taking this way too literally..it doesnt mean sit around, wait forever and pine over your ex. It just gives reassurance that if things are meant to work out they will. Sometimes I feel like he’s out there looking for me, yet I don’t even know who he is because God hasn’t brought me to him… one day! One day he’ll come and be perfect for me! ^.^

I don’t think this is good advice… Letting go is less painful than holding onto hope for what may never happen.

Interesting comments….I am older than all of you may I just say this…people come in our lives for a reason….Knowing yourself and honesty is always best…when we are attracted to someone sometimes we over look differences for the attraction is that strong…Once together, in a relationship those differences become the main focus and not the attraction…if we are totally honest with each other so

one time at band camp…lol jk but for real, I got this guy calling me and calling me asking me out over and over until I finally gave in and went out with him. we had two handsome sons together then we broke up when they were just 1 and 2 years old. they are now 8 and 9 years old and we’ve been back together for one year now. he is the love of my life, I never lost hope that we would be together again, now we are engaged to be married =) awesome eh 😛 =D

That’s a Toughie!! Who knows what the future holds….sometimes waiting, holding ones breath or even hoping hurts just as much :-/ I guess it’s more just live your lives and if it happens, then it’s an amazing treat!!
